At Thai Food Depot, we believe in giving back to the communities that support us. We are committed to making a positive impact through various initiatives and partnerships. Here's a glimpse into our community involvement:
Thai Food Depot ร่วมกับ NVA Thai Center LLC โดยคุณ ณรงค์ ดำแดง CEO จัดงานตลาดนัดอาหารและสินค้าไทย NVA Thai Market บริเวณลานหน้าพิพิธภัณฑ์แห่งเมือง Manassas รัฐเวอร์จิเนีย เมื่อวันที่ ๗ เมษายน ๒๕๖๗ โดยมี เอกอัครราชทูตธานี แสงรัตน์ เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิด และได้กล่าว ชื่นชมคณะผู้บริหาร NVA Thai Center LLC สำหรับความคิดริเริ่มและความมุ่งมั่นในการจัดตลาดนัดแห่งนี้ในการนำเสนอความเป็นไทยในหลายด้าน พร้อมแสดงความหวังที่จะเห็นการพัฒนาต่อยอดไปสู่การก่อตั้งเป็นไทยทาวน์แห่งที่สามในสหรัฐฯ ต่อจากนครลอสแอนเจลิส และนครนิวยอร์ก ได้สำเร็จต่อไป
ภายในงาน มีผู้ประกอบการเข้าร่วมกว่า ๓๐ ร้าน และมีผู้สนใจมาจับจ่ายใช้สอย ตลอดจนลิ้มลองอาหารไทยเป็นจำนวนมาก ทั้งนี้ ได้รับเกียรติจากนาย Suhas Subramanyam สมาชิกวุฒิสภารัฐเวอร์จิเนีย และนาง Michelle Davis-Younger นายกเทศมนตรีเมือง Manassas เข้าร่วมและกล่าวแสดงความยินดีและร่วมเดินชมตลาดด้วย
นอกจากนี้ Thai Food Depot ได้จัดเต็นจัดจำหน่ายน้ำขวดเพื่อนำรายได้มอบให้กับโรงเรียบสอนภาษา และวัฒนธรรมของวัดญาณรังษีด้วย
สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงวอชิงตัน ขอเชิญชวนร้านอาหารไทยใน DMV เข้าร่วมกิจกรรม Songkran - Thai Restaurant Week 2024 ระหว่างวันที่ ๖-๑๖ เมษายน ๒๕๖๗ เพื่อประชาสัมพันธ์อาหารไทย ร้านอาหารไทย และเทศกาลสงกรานต์ของไทย
แนวทางการจัดกิจกรรม: สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ร่วมกับสมาคม
ร้านอาหารไทยในสหรัฐฯ และร้านอาหารไทยใน DMV ที่สนใจประชาสัมพันธ์ให้สาธารณชนเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม โดยไปรับประทานอาหารไทยในร้านที่เข้าร่วมโครงการ ถ่ายรูปอาหาร และเผยแพร่ทาง Instagram เพื่อชิงรางวัลต่าง ๆ จำนวนมากมาย อาทิ บัตรโดยสารเครื่องบินไป-กลับประเทศไทย voucher ห้องพักในประเทศไทย คอร์สเรียนอาหารไทย gift cards สำหรับรับประทานอาหารไทย และผลิตภัณฑ์จากไทย
ร้านอาหารที่เข้าร่วมโครงการจะได้รับ: การประชาสัมพันธ์โดยสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ทางเว็บไซต์ Songkran - Thai Restaurant Week 2024 และ Instagram @eatthaidmv รวมทั้งสื่อแขนงต่างๆ ในเครือข่ายของสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ช่วงเดือน มี.ค. - เม.ย. ๒๕๖๗ ทั้งนี้ เพื่อสร้างกระแสตระหนักรู้และส่งเสริมอาหารไทย ตลอดจนร้านอาหารไทยให้เป็นที่รู้จักให้แพร่หลายมากยิ่งขึ้นในสหรัฐฯ
แนวทางปฏิบัติสำหรับร้านอาหารที่เข้าร่วมกิจกรรม:
1. จัดทำเมนูพิเศษ หรือโปรโมชั่นพิเศษ สำหรับ Songkran - Thai Restaurant Week 2024 พร้อมส่งเมนูพิเศษ/โปรโมชั่นพิเศษ พร้อมภาพถ่าย/ภาพประชาสัมพันธ์ให้สถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ เผยแพร่ในเว็บไซต์และ Instagram ของงาน
2. ประชาสัมพันธ์ Songkran - Thai Restaurant Week 2024 ผ่านช่องทางของร้าน พร้อม tag #eatthaidmv #thairestaurantweek2024 @eatthaidmv ทาง Instagram
3. ตกแต่งร้าน และสร้างบรรยากาศธีมเทศกาลสงกรานต์
4. ร่วมสนับสนุนของรางวัล Gift Cards หรือสินค้าอาหารไทย (ตามความสมัครใจ)

Thai Food Depot is one of the participants at Heritage Night, an event celebrating cultures from over 30 nations, including Thailand.
The event is held at Mantua Elementary School in Fairfax, VA, where students from Mantua collaborate to showcase their own cultural performances and music.
In addition, the event features international cuisine for attendees to enjoy. Thai Food Depot has brought sticky rice with mango and fresh coconut milk pandan pudding for participants to savor.
On November 12, 2023, employees of Thai Food Depot collaborated to construct a workshop for almsgiving ceremony on Buddhist holy days held at Wat Tummaprateip, MD. Total income is donated to the temple, excluding expenses.
On November 5, 2023, employees of Thai Food Depot collaborated to construct a workshop for receiving royal patronage in the annual event held at Yanarangsee Temple, Washington.
On October 16, 2022, Mr. Narong, Mrs. Kanjana, and Miss Natcha Damdaeng participated as presiding members in the annual offering of royal patronage cloth at Yanarangsee Temple, Washington. The event was graced by Phravibul Dhammawitetsat, Deputy Chairman of the Dhammayut Sangha Administrative Committee, Abbot of Wat Washington Buddhavanaram, Washington state, who presided over the ceremony and acted as the head of the Sangha. Additionally, Phrakru Sirithammawitetsat, Abbot of Yanarangsee Temple, and Phrakru Soponthammawitetsat, Abbot of Dhammapratip Temple, Maryland, along with monks from various Thai temples in the United States, a total of 13 individuals, joined the ceremony."
